Bosham had won the toss and elected to bat. Openers Gogarty and Jamie Glennie got the team off to a solid start scoring 39 and 29 respectively. Luke Haddow (21) and Thomas Phizackerley (13) also played well but it was an excellent innings from Barnaby Watney that put Bosham in a commanding position by the close of the innings. Watney's unbeaten 28 included the only six of the day which he hit far over mid wicket. Batting with the Bosham tail he guided his team to a total of 170 and a declaration.

Mahad Ahmed hit a brilliant 74 as he kept Ifield in the game. With the comfort of having plenty of runs in hand Bosham could afford to attack and they picked up wickets. When a sharp piece of fielding from Dominic Gogarty claimed the wicket of Tharidu Abeyrathna Bosham sensed victory. Abeyrathna had scored 23 and apart from Ahmed was the only other Ifield batsmen to make double figures. When Phizackerley returned in to the attack and claimed the wicket of Ahmed Bosham seemingly had the game won. Wickets fell in quick succession and with a full three overs remaining the visitors needed just one more wicket. However they could not make the break through and ended the tournament with their second winning draw of the week.
